The antidote – legislator will suspend the obligation to file for insolvency

EASING THE BURDEN ON COMPANIES FACING LIQUIDITY DIFFICULTIES DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS

Last week, the German federal and state governments confirmed that they intend to take a number of measures to prevent bankruptcies and job cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic. Among other things, affected companies will be able to defer tax payments, and loans as well as state-financed short‑time‑working grants will be made abvailable.
