With comprehensive support from GSK Stockmann in the fields of real estate, tax and investment law, Quantum Immobilien Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH has acquired a light industrial property in the Wilhelmsburg district of Hamburg. The multi-tenant property is located on a plot of approximately 12,200 m² at Dratelnstrasse 20 and almost completely let. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
The property is divided into two units and consists of an old building raised in 1990, which provides a rental area of approx. 1,800 m²; the new building, completed in 2003, accounts for approx. 7,100 m². Located only 15 minutes from Hamburg’s city centre, the logistics and production property is conveniently situated when it comes to transport links.
Quantum is very confident, in the long term, about the property’s appreciation potential, due to its excellent location and diverse uses among other things. The Wilhelmsburg district is furthermore developing dynamically: in the vicinity of the property, the “Elbinselquartier” is being developed on an area of around 47 hectares.
GSK Stockmann advised Quantum Immobilien Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH with a team led by Michael Jani on all aspects of real estate, tax and investment law during the acquisition.
Advisers to Quantum:
GSK Stockmann: Michael Jani (lead, Real Estate), Dominik Berka (Tax); Associates: Christina Reiber (Real Estate), Jan-Bernd Seeger and Manuel Feller (Public).
