A renowned expert reinforces GSK Stockmann’s banking and state aid law team. As of 01 July 2020, Friedrich Ludwig Hausmann (56) will be joining the GSK Stockmann Berlin office as new Equity Partner.
Hausmann advises national and international companies, governments and public bodies on procurement, state aid and antitrust law. He has many years of experience advising on complex public procurement/award procedures, privatizations and PPPs in all areas of public infrastructure, in particular in project development, mobility, “Smart Cities” and energy.
Together with Hausmann, a team of two lawyers will be coming to GSK Stockmann on 01 July 2020 from PwC Legal AG: Sebastian Dabbagh (Senior Associate) and Fabian Schiefner (Associate).
“His special expertise in procurement law and in the areas of privatisation and PPP makes Friedrich Ludwig Hausmann an excellent addition to our team,” said Jan Kehrberg, Partner and coordinator of the Projects & Public Sector department at GSK Stockmann in Berlin. “This will enable us to further improve the quality of our advice in the Public Sector. We will further develop the innovative procurement and development concepts for complex needs, in particular with partnering and conceptual models – a field where we have achieved a leading position. This wonderful expansion of our team also contributes to giving our clients comprehensive advice that focuses on the clients and their requirements.”
Jenny Mehlitz, Partner and procurement law expert at GSK Stockmann, added, “With Friedrich Ludwig Hausmann, an extremely experienced public procurement and state aid law team will be available to our clients at all our locations, allowing us as a leading consulting firm to consistently adapt to our client’s complex needs.”
Regarding the new cooperation, Friedrich Ludwig Hausmann said, “I am very much looking forward to becoming part of the vibrant partnership at GSK Stockmann. GSK Stockmann is undoubtedly one of the very strong law firms in all aspects of the real estate industry. But I also appreciate the excellent public law practice and the dynamic development in the financing and technology sectors. These are strongly linked to my advisory focuses in the area of complex procurement projects and the structuring of transactions in the public sector. Together with the well-established public procurement and state aid practice led by Jenny Mehlitz, Arne Gniechwitz and Wolfgang Würfel, we will work as a team to further strengthen GSK Stockmann’s position in these legal fields.”
With the arrival of Hausmann and his team, GSK Stockmann’s procurement and state aid law practice now grew to 18 lawyers.
