Employment Law

GSK Stockmann advises and represents its clients in all the important areas of employment law. Our team of accredited specialist lawyers (Fachanwälte) helps you to assess projects and make decisions having due regard for employment law. This applies to individual issues such as, for example, drafting contracts for services with directors and board members, drawing up employment contracts, flexible employment models and preparing redundancies and dismissals.
We also help our clients with legal issues concerning works constitutions, we negotiate with works councils, e.g. when shop agreements, agreements on the reconciliation of interests (Interessenausgleiche) and social redundancy schemes (Sozialpläne) are drawn up. We also represent our clients before boards of conciliation in matters involving the law governing works constitutions.

In corporate transactions we prepare the legal matters relating to employment issues when undertakings or parts of undertakings are sold and thus set the points for a smooth sale. On the buyer's side our team conducts the employment due diligence, draws attention to pitfalls in good time and helps from the outset with ensuring that the contracts are drafted optimally.
This also includes structuring or, as the case may be, avoiding transfers of undertakings. When senior managers leave we assist our clients with negotiating and drafting mutual termination agreements.
