The “International Comparative Legal Guide to: Real Estate 2018” has been published by Global Legal Group. The Guide is a practical cross-border insight into real estate work. It compares the real estate law in different jurisdictions within 27 Question and Answer Chapters.

First of all, the Guide comprises three General Chapters examining the topics “Real Estate Joint Ventures: New Paradigm or Passing Fashion?”, “Serviced Offices: The Changing Face of the Real Estate Market” and “Toronto CREW and an Outlook on the Canadian Market for 2018.”

The first part is followed by the Country Question and Answer Chapters which depict the jurisdiction in 27 different countries such as France, Costa Rica, Japan, South Africa et cetera. For every country the analysed topics are: Real Estate Law, Ownership, Real Estate Rights, System of Registration, The Registry / Registries, Real Estate Market, Liabilities of Buyers and Sellers in Real Estate Transactions, Finance and Banking, Tax, Leases of Business Premises and Residential Premises, Public Law Permits and Obligations as well as Climate Change.
