GSK Stockmann helps umdasch Store Makers acquire digital signage specialist Gundlach SEEN MEDIA

GSK Stockmann provided comprehensive legal advice to umdasch Store Makers, Amstetten, Austria, as they took over digital signage specialist Gundlach SEEN MEDIA. The seller is the Gundlach group from Bielefeld. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Founded more than 10 years ago by Stefan Knoke and Markus Deserno, SEEN MEDIA from the very beginning specialized in digital presentation solutions for companies. The digital signage pioneer placed a special focus on the seamless interaction of hardware, software and content. In 2016, the Gundlach group acquired a majority stake in SEEN MEDIA, with Gundlach in turn contributing its intelligent solutions digital signage unit and merging to form Gundlach SEEN MEDIA, thus creating one of the largest full solution providers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company has grown to more than 50 employees at the three locations Aachen, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. From there, Gundlach SEEN MEDIA provides support to major international customers such as Audi, ADAC, Coca Cola, Hagebau, Siemens, Tank & Rast and Telefonica in developing and implementing their digitalization strategy.

GSK Stockmann comprehensively advised umdasch on due diligence as well as on drafting and negotiating the share purchase agreement.
