DownloadPDF, 116 K

The Pierre & Vacances / Center Parcs group is planning the construction and operation of a holiday park with approximately 800 holiday homes (about 4000 beds) and central facilities for holiday guests, in Leutkirch in the Allgäu (Baden-Württemberg). A small portion of the planned holiday park is located in the community of Markt Altusried (Bavaria). It is the first holiday facility of this kind that Center Parcs will be establishing in Southern Germany.

In the context of an EU-wide tender, the city of Leutkirch has now awarded the contract to Center Parcs Allgäu GmbH for the roughly 180 hectare large, mainly forested, former military area. The purchasing contract and an urban development contract for the further development of the land has been concluded.  For the first time, Pierre & Vacances / Center Parcs has been advised by GSK Stockmann + Kollegen. Approval for construction should be obtained by 2012. The demilitarisation of the site is scheduled for early 2012, construction should commence in early 2013, and the holiday park should be opening in 2015.

Legal advisor to Center Parcs:
