GSK Stockmann advises Motorworld group on concluding the operating agreement for the Ferris wheel “Hi-Sky Munich”

Motorworld group is taking on the operation of Munich’s latest attraction, Hi Sky, the world’s largest mobile Ferris wheel to be set up in the Munich district Werksviertel-Mitte. GSK Stockmann offered comprehensive legal advice to Motorworld group on concluding the operating agreement with Munich manufacturer MAURER SE.

Being the world’s largest mobile Ferris wheel, Hi-Sky Munich is going to be a new highlight in the tourist metropolis. It is going to be set up in the spring of 2019 by the Munich steelwork company MAURER SE in the former factory district Werksviertel-Mitte. Motorworld group who is already successfully running Motorworld Munich in Freimann (Munich) is also going to be running the Ferris wheel. The opening of the new attraction is planned for as early as April 2019. Besides conventional Ferris wheel rides, Motorworld also wants to offer new experiences such as a Bavarian veal sausage breakfast or gondola business meetings, plus catering and merchandising.

Hi-Sky Munich is going to stay in Werksviertel-Mitte directly beside Ostbahnhof train station for at least two years, offering a wonderful view of the city center and the Alps. The new attraction will be open 365 days of the year, with opening hours currently planned from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

GSK Stockmann comprehensively advised Motorworld group on contract design and represented the client in the negotiations regarding the operating agreement.
