GSK Stockmann advised Virtual Forge shareholders on acquisition by market leader Onapsis

GSK Stockmann advised the shareholders of Virtual Forge, a Heidelberg manufacturer of automated SAP security solutions, on the acquisition by the American security market leader Onapsis. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Virtual Forge is the leading provider of cyber security solutions for SAP. The company was founded in 2006 and is based in Heidelberg. Its more than 100 employees work all over the world to protect SAP systems against cyber attacks, espionage and system failures.

Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Onapsis is an expert in SAP and Oracle cybersecurity and provides complete security solutions for securing enterprise applications against cyber risks and compliance gaps. Taking over Virtual Forge makes Onapsis the largest independent provider of ERP security and compliance solutions.

A GSK Stockmann team of lawyers and tax advisors of Treuhand (trust) Heidelberg jointly advised the shareholders of Virtual Forge led by Dr. Raoul Kreide who has been supporting the group’s expansion in corporate law questions for some time.
