GSK is attending Deutsche GRI 2016

Mass immigration, big data, demographics and ever more capital aiming to find opportunities in German real estate. Does German real estate avoid the normal cycle (for now)?

Positive Data and the flood of money drive the optimism and will bring another record year with more than € 50bn invested. And the positive outlook is very likely to continue into the next year. As a consequence, the shortage of quality assets is likely to increase further, lower yields are acceptable thanks to low financing costs and investors are moving up the risk curve. Not out of choice but a lack of alternatives.

Alternative sectors, non-core assets and locations and an abundance of financing alternatives have become part of the modern day investor’s toolkit. At the same time, technology is massively changing the industry, promising more competition, jobs and totally new business opportunities. Where does the real estate industry put the money in 2016?

These and other questions were discussed at Deutsche GRI where investors, project developers, financial institutions met together and to develop valuable real estate strategies and relationships, find new business partners, and strengthen their global networks

GSK Stockmann + Kollegen is also attending Deutsche GRI where Dirk Brückner, partner with GSK Munich, is participating the discussion on „JVs / Club Deals – Do off-market deals promise better returns or more control?“. Furthermore Bernhard Laas, also partner with GSK Munich, is joining the panel on „Hotel Investments – Do Multi-Purpose developments satisfy operators and investors?“.

GRI events are unlike anything else you’ve attended. There is no stage, there are no presentations and there are no panels. Instead, there are simultaneous closed-door discussions where everyone participates. You can quickly and efficiently identify partnership and investment opportunities from a room full of decision-makers ready to do business.

Join us on the 9th and 10th May at the 12th Deutsche GRI 2016. You will find further information on Deutsche GRI’s programme that you can download here.
