GSK Stockmann supports Save the Children with Christmas donation

This year, the international law firm GSK Stockmann is supporting Save the Childrenwith its Christmas donation. The London-based NGO campaigns for the rights and protection of children worldwide. The firm’s London team, which was set up in September 2022, delivered the donation cheque for a total of GBP 5,555 on 8 December 2022, on “Christmas Jumper Day”.

The idea of donning a particularly eye-catching Christmas jumper during the holiday season has a long tradition in the UK. Save the Children has taken up this custom and has been calling for donations on Christmas Jumper Day every year since 2012. This year too, millions of Britons are taking part at work, in school or among friends to support this worthy cause.

As this past year has been financially particularly hard on many families, the London team led by partners Andreas Dimmling, York-Alexander von Massenbach and Mark Butt wanted to do something special for children. On this occasion, the employees of GSK Stockmann outdid themselves with their original Christmas jumper outfits.

The UK government is also supporting this year’s Christmas Jumper campaign and has pledged to double the amount raised. The additional funds raised will be used to support families and children in Kenya in particular.
