GSK Stockmann advises Everest on the sale of the office complex “Sonnenhöfe“, near Munich

The Frankfurt-based company Everest Management GmbH has sold the Sonnenhöfe (“Sun Courtyards”) office complex near Munich to the investment manager Investcorp from Bahrain. GSK Stockmann provided legal advice to Everest on the sale, which was carried out on behalf of the US-based real estate investor Westport Capital Partners.

The office complex, which was constructed between 1992 and 1994, is located on Inselkammerstraße in Unterhaching, a suburb of Munich. It is a part of the “Sonnenhöfe” Quarter and boasts approximately 30,000 m2 of office space distributed among four buildings.

In addition to the office buildings, the “Sonnenhöfe” Quarter also features a Holiday Inn hotel. Assisted by Everest, the seller Westport Capital Partners purchased the Quarter in 2016 and then proceeded to divide and revitalize it. Since the purchase, GSK Stockmann has comprehensively advised Everest on the development of the Quarter regarding all property-related, real estate and public law issues. GSK Stockmann prepared the sale of the office complex with an extensive Legal Fact Book.
