GSK Stockmann advises Westbrook on acquisition and financing of a property in Berlin-Mitte

GSK Stockmann has provided comprehensive legal advice to the real estate investment company Westbrook Partners on the purchase and financing of a property in Leipziger Strasse (Berlin-Mitte). The seller is a group of private investors. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

The property, which was completed in 2005 and is mainly used as an office building, is centrally located at 124 Leipziger Strasse on the corner of Wilhelmstrasse. Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie and the government district are in the immediate vicinity. The building is well connected to the public transport system via various subway, train and bus lines.
The modern building comprises a basement and ground floor, seven additional floors and an underground car park with 12 parking spaces. Further features are a glass facade, a representative atrium and several patios.

Westbrook Partners was founded in 1994 and is now specialised in the acquisition and appreciation of real estate in top international locations across the asset classes office, residential, retail, hotel and industrial. The property at 124 Leipziger Strasse is now the fourth property that Westbrook has acquired in Berlin.
