GSK Stockmann has provided KanAm Grund with comprehensive legal advice on a joint venture with Munich-based CV Real Estate regarding the sale of the “One Hundred East” real estate development on the former Da Vinci Campus in Munich to an Austrian family office.
About a year ago, the joint venture had acquired the property located in the business park on Zamdorferstrasse/Klausenburgerstrasse with a gross floor area of approx. 18,000 m2 from the Augsburg-based Walter Beteiligungen und Immobilien (WBI). The “One Hundred East” real estate project is planned to offer attractive retail and office space on the 14,500 m² site in Munich’s east. A preliminary building permit for 24,000 m² gross floor area has already been issued.
The location between the city centre and the Munich trade fair centre provides excellent connections with access to the A94 motorway and the nearby Berg am Laim station that belongs to Munich’s rapid transit and commuter rail system. The district where, among others, the high-rise building of Süddeutsche Zeitungs-Verlag is located, is one of the fast growing office and hotel locations in the Munich area.
GSK Stockmann and a team led by Marcel Vietor provided KanAm Grund with comprehensive legal advice on the joint venture with CV-Projektentwicklung GmbH and the final sale of the real estate project by way of a share deal.
