AIJA 59th International Young Lawyers’ Congress

The 2021 AIJA Congress will take place both in-person in Zurich – and for the first time, with a virtual option through a custom-made online platform. With this first ever hybrid Congress, AIJA aims to create an even stronger sense of community across its membership by providing easy access to networking and high-quality content.

The theme of this year’s congress is “Innovation: Exploring tomorrow’s legal world”.

With a team of lawyers, GSK Stockmann will be represented at the AIJA Congress in Zurich: While Dr. Jens Uwe Rügenhagen (Local Partner at GSK Stockmann in Heidelberg) is “Academic Coordinator”, Valerio Scollo (Local Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) will be speaker in the session “Technology Transforming Tradition: Fintech Innovation in Banking and Capital Markets” on 26 August 2021. Furthermore, Dr. Antonius Jonetzki (Local Partner at GSK Stockmann in Hamburg) will participate as representative.

AIJA is the only global association dedicated to lawyers and in-house counsel under the age of 45. Since 1962, AIJA has provided outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop.
