Compensation, labour and employment law experts Alexander Insam and Martin Hörtz have joined GSK Stockmann

GSK Stockmann reinforces its labour and employment law team with renowned experts. Alexander Insam will be joining GSK Stockmann’s Frankfurt office as an Equity Partner on 1 January 2021. He will be accompanied by labour and employment lawyer Martin Hörtz, who will start as a Local Partner

As a lawyer and specialist in labour and employment law, Alexander Insam advises national and international clients on all questions regarding individual and collective labour and employment law. He can draw on many years of experience in (regulatory) compensation consulting, in particular for banks. In addition, he focuses in his labour and employment law practice on advising companies on the introduction of IT systems, home office regulations and agile work structures within the Works Constitution Act. Since 2006, Insam has also been active as a mediator and arbitrator building up particular expertise with internal conflicts between employers and works councils or trade unions in the aviation industry, among others. Furthermore, Insam is also internationally known for his work in conflict management through two conflict cost studies in 2009 and 2012, as well as for Managing Conflict 4.0, an international conference that took place in Los Angeles in 2015.

Together with Alexander Insam, a team of two lawyers will be coming to GSK Stockmann from KPMG Law. He will be joined by Martin Hörtz as a Local Partner on 1 January 2021. Sarah Lahmer (Associate) will follow on 1 April 2021.

Martin Hörtz is a lawyer and specialist in labour and employment law and advises national and international companies in all areas of individual and collective labour and employment law. In addition to compensation consulting, Hörtz has special expertise in connection with the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements in the areas of compliance, data protection and (labour-related) criminal law.

With the arrival of Alexander Insam and his team, GSK Stockmann’s labour and employment law practice now has grown to 9 lawyers.
